The service
The Handy Plan is a handyman maintenance service for homes and businesses, operated by Brian Dillon (Wekiva Services LLC), serving the North Orlando Corridor — Winter Park, Maitland, Altamonte Springs, Longwood, and Apopka. It's a solo operation: the same person handles every visit.
Subscriptions & billing
Plans are billed per visit, not on a fixed monthly schedule — monthly, every-3-months, or a one-time visit are all available, each including 60 minutes of labor. Residential and commercial customers use the same pricing. You may supply your own materials, or request that materials be picked up on your behalf: small pickups are a flat $20 fee plus cost, while larger items (pallets, mulch, plywood, and similar) are priced separately. Labor beyond 60 minutes is billed at $95/hr. No card is required to sign up — a card is saved on file when you request your first visit, and is not charged until after that visit is completed. Larger jobs may be quoted a custom price in place of the standard plan rate.
Scheduling
Visits are requested with a preferred window and confirmed with an exact date and time before they're final. A submitted request is not a guaranteed booking until confirmed.
Scope of work
See the Common Tasks page for what's typically handled. Work requiring a licensed specialist — electrical panel work, whole-system plumbing, roofing, structural repairs, or anything requiring a permit — is outside scope and will be declined rather than attempted.
Your responsibilities
You're responsible for providing accurate address and access information, supplying materials for requested work, and disclosing any known hazards or pre-existing issues at the property relevant to the work requested.
Cancellation
Subscriptions can be paused, canceled, or reactivated at any time from your account — no minimum commitment, no cancellation fee. Individual upcoming visits can also be canceled before they're completed. Completed visits are not eligible for refund.
Liability
The Handy Plan is licensed and insured. To the extent permitted by law, liability for any claim arising from services provided is limited to the amount paid for the visit in question. The Handy Plan is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for pre-existing conditions not caused by the work performed.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time; continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
